Qi Gong Breathing
By Frank Jasper
Qi Gong breathing is recommended for anyone dealing with cancer and cancer related treatments.
To start, follow your breath:
Find a quiet place and sit upright comfortably. Place your hands with palms facing up on your thighs, your feet should be flat on the floor with your spine either supported of held erect. Drop your awareness to a place 1 ½ inches below your navel called your lower Dantien, follow your breath in and say mentally – this is me breathing in – follow your breath out and think this is me breathing out. Let go of all thoughts and external connections – just be the breath for 10 – 20 minutes. Then come back into the moment slowly – stand and walk slowly with this awareness for 15 minutes before continuing with your day.
